Baby Ellie

I have several posts to do but I am a little tired and busy at the moment so I will just give you the most important part now. I actually had my baby. Eliza DeLon Ray was born on Sat., February 21 at 1:37pm. 7lb. 15oz. and 20.5 inches long. Ellie is a perfect addition to our family and we love her to pieces. Everything is going wonderfully and I will post most details of her arrival later.

Because I'm Violent

Here is a tidbit from my conversations with Little Walter (LW) this morning.
Randomly, out of nowhere...
LW: (while grabbing and holding my face in his hands) Momma. Don't.Push.Dadda. MOMMA! Momma?
Me: Um, Okay.

Pay it forward

My friend Lindsey has this on her blog and I thought I would play along, so here goes. I will use Lindsey's words to describe it and you can play along if you would like. "The first 3 people to leave a comment on this will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise. There's a small catch...You knew there would be didn't you? Post this on your blog then come back and leave a comment, telling me you're in. Fun, huh? Remember, only the first 3 comments receive the gift."

Now, unlike Lindsey, I can't promise that my gift will be hand made because I am not terribly creative and my creative center in my mind seems to tire easily, but it will be cute none the less.

So, if you want to play along go post on your blog and come back and comment.

Going Strong

I know that I am getting close to my due date so people are getting curious about whether or not I have had the baby. Well, no. I haven't. In fact, I haven't progressed at all. The baby is doing great, however. Measuring right on, non-stress test was "reactive" (which is a good thing), blood pressure is good, and so on. I really wish I had some exciting news for you, but I don't yet. I promise I will update when I have something to share. On the bright side, I will be able to attend my baby shower on Saturday so I am looking forward to that.

Oh, and one thing that is driving me crazy, other than still being pregnant, is that Little Walter has discovered a new favorite saying. Every time Walter or I tell him to do something, not do something, tell him no, etc. He says "I don't care" or "I don't care about that" in a rather stern tone. It is so annoying but he won't stop. I was trying to encourage him to not say it but it didn't work so I have had to take to punishing him. Where does the kid get these sayings? I am sure it is from his father ; ).
